辨析owing to與due to
兩者均為介詞詞組，均譯為“因?yàn)椤�，但owing to更強(qiáng)調(diào)“歸功于”，更趨向于褒義，而due to為中性詞，無感情色彩。
辨析accept與receive，
accept譯為“收下”，表示從心里愿意接受，而receive只表示收到，
如：I received a very expensive present, but I didn’t accept it.
determine vi. 決定，決心
determine to do/be determined to do
determination n. 決心，恒心
live a. 現(xiàn)場的，鮮活的，
辨析live，lively，alive，living，
live指的是現(xiàn)場的，鮮活的等，
lively指的是有生氣的，
alive與living均指的是活著的，但alive用于表語和后置定語，living用于前置定語。

When asked…此句為省略句，應(yīng)為When he was asked…

不定式的否定結(jié)構(gòu)做表語。
