Where is / are + … ?
當(dāng)我們想知道某個(gè)物品在哪兒時(shí),我們通常用Where is / are … ?句型來(lái)提問(wèn)。如:Where is my backpack?
△where是疑問(wèn)副詞,意思是在哪里,后面用一般疑問(wèn)句句型。
△當(dāng)詢問(wèn)的物品數(shù)量為單數(shù)時(shí),其前的be動(dòng)詞應(yīng)使用is,因?yàn)樵撐锲吩趩?wèn)句中提到過(guò),所以回答時(shí)用代詞it代替該物品。如:
- Where is / Where’s my baseball?
我的棒球在哪兒?
- It’s in the backpack.
在背包里。
△當(dāng)所詢問(wèn)的物品數(shù)量為復(fù)數(shù)時(shí),其前的be動(dòng)詞使用are,因?yàn)樵撐锲吩趩?wèn)句中提到過(guò),所以回答時(shí)用代詞they代替該物品。如:

注:Where are 不能縮寫(xiě)。

當(dāng)我們不確定某人或某物在哪兒而加以猜測(cè)時(shí),我們常使用下列的句型(Yes / No問(wèn)句):
如:- Where are my books? 我的書(shū)在哪兒?
- I don’t know. 我不知道。
- Are they on the bed? 在床上嗎?
- No, they’re not (they aren’t) .
不,不在。
3. 如何確認(rèn)某人或某物的所在位置(空間關(guān)系)--表示地點(diǎn)的介詞:

介詞(前置詞)是一種虛詞,它不能單獨(dú)擔(dān)任句子成分,必須與名詞或代詞或相當(dāng)于名詞的其他詞類(lèi)、短語(yǔ)構(gòu)成介詞短語(yǔ),才能擔(dān)任句子成份。
英語(yǔ)中介詞的數(shù)量并不多,但每個(gè)介詞通常都有多種意思,如in既可表示時(shí)間(in the morning 在上午),又可表示地點(diǎn)。同時(shí),同樣的介詞和不同的動(dòng)詞組成意思各異的動(dòng)詞短語(yǔ),如look at (看),look for (尋找)。所以介詞對(duì)于同學(xué)們來(lái)講,還是比較難的。介詞在英語(yǔ)中的使用頻率也很高,僅次于冠詞,學(xué)好它也是非常重要的。在這個(gè)單元我們只學(xué)五個(gè)靜態(tài)的方位介詞。

△拓展:介詞后面的成分叫介詞賓語(yǔ),如果是人的代詞應(yīng)用賓格形式。
4. 定冠詞the的基本用法
英語(yǔ)的名詞在前面加上a、an和the的情形極為頻繁,a、an和the即是所謂的冠詞。冠詞的用法特別繁多,應(yīng)一一牢記。例如:a dog (一只狗),the dog 這只狗。
△冠詞是虛詞,本身不能單獨(dú)使用,也沒(méi)有詞義,它用在名詞的前面,幫助指明名詞的含義。冠詞分為不定冠詞a /an和定冠詞the兩種。不定冠詞僅用在單數(shù)可數(shù)名詞前面,表示“一”的意義,但不強(qiáng)調(diào)數(shù)目概念,只表示名詞為不特定者。
△定冠詞the的基本用法
定冠詞the表示名詞為特定者,有this,these,that或those之含義。用在可數(shù)名詞單數(shù)、復(fù)數(shù)和不可數(shù)名詞前,表示某個(gè)/某些特定的人或事物。
(1)指上文提到過(guò)的人或事物。如:
I have a new pencil. The pencil (= It ) is in my pencil case. 我有一支新鉛筆。那支鉛筆在我的文具盒里。(the指前面提到過(guò)的那支鉛筆)
(2)指對(duì)話雙方都知道的那個(gè)人或事物(本單元主要是學(xué)會(huì)這種用法)。如:
- Where’s the backpack?
背包在哪兒?
- It’s under the table.
在桌子下面。
(特指我們房子里的背包和桌子,而不是別的房間里的,是對(duì)話雙方都知道的背包和桌子。)
- Who’s the boy under the tree? 樹(shù)下的那個(gè)男孩是誰(shuí)?(特指樹(shù)下的男孩,樹(shù)是對(duì)話雙方都知道的那一棵樹(shù)。)
注:the只有一種書(shū)寫(xiě)形式,但發(fā)音有兩種形式,在以輔音開(kāi)頭的詞前讀為 ;在元音開(kāi)頭的詞前讀為 。如:the pen 這支鋼筆, 這個(gè)蘋(píng)果。
5. between … and … 在……和……之間
這個(gè)介詞短語(yǔ)所連接的兩個(gè)名詞或代詞表示的是兩個(gè)人、兩個(gè)不同物或兩個(gè)點(diǎn)(時(shí)間、數(shù)字或場(chǎng)所)。如:
(1) Who’s that boy between your parents?
你父母親之間的那個(gè)男孩是誰(shuí)?
(2) There is a map between the door and the window.
門(mén)窗之間的墻上有一幅地圖。
(3) He is at home between six and seven in the evening.
他晚上6點(diǎn)到7點(diǎn)之間在家里。
△表示在兩個(gè)同類(lèi)人或物之間可在介詞between后面接復(fù)數(shù)名詞。如:
(4) There is a photo of my family between the two windows.
兩扇窗戶之間有一張我家的全家照。
6. 朋友、熟人之間如何請(qǐng)求對(duì)方幫忙做某事?Can you … ?
Can you … ? 這一句型常用于朋友、熟人之間請(qǐng)求對(duì)方幫忙做某事的情景。如:
Can you take these books to the classroom?
你能幫著把這些書(shū)帶到教室去嗎?
△Can you … ? 作肯定的回答常用Certainly 或 Sure;否定的回答有Sorry, I can’t 或Sorry,然后說(shuō)出理由。如:
A:Can you help me, Lucy? 露茜,你能幫我嗎?
B:Certainly, Dad. 當(dāng)然可以,爸爸。
△如果是表示有禮貌的請(qǐng)求或委婉地提出問(wèn)題,則用Could you …?如:
Could you be here at 7 o’clock tomorrow morning?
你明天早上7點(diǎn)能到這兒?jiǎn)幔?/p>
7. bring與take
bring “帶來(lái)、拿來(lái)”,它的反義詞是take “拿到、帶到”,它們都與介詞to搭配。
△take … to 表示“把某物或某人帶到某場(chǎng)所去”。take具有很強(qiáng)的方向性,強(qiáng)調(diào)帶到另一場(chǎng)所去,而不是帶到說(shuō)話人的地方來(lái)。
如:Please take these things to your brother. 請(qǐng)把這些東西帶給你弟弟。
△bring … to bring與take正好相反,bring … to表示把某物或某人給某人帶來(lái)或帶到說(shuō)話人的場(chǎng)所來(lái),即帶來(lái),而不是帶走(take)。
Can you bring some things to school, mummy?
媽媽?zhuān)隳軒〇|西到學(xué)校來(lái)嗎?
△take是英語(yǔ)中一個(gè)非;钴S的詞,組合力很強(qiáng)。
注:take和bring后所接的場(chǎng)所若是 there,here,home等副詞,to則要省去。如:
Take your bike there.
把你的自行車(chē)拿到那兒去。
Bring your pen home.
把你的鋼筆帶回來(lái)。
8. at和in
at和in都表示場(chǎng)所,但有區(qū)別。
at:在某地點(diǎn)(表示比較狹窄的場(chǎng)所)
at school 上學(xué) at home 在家
at 2 Green street 在格林街2號(hào)
in:在某地(表示比較寬敞的場(chǎng)所)
in Beijing 在北京 in China 在中國(guó)
in the street 在街上
9. 如何表達(dá)某地有某人某物
There is/are+ 某人或某物+表示地點(diǎn)或時(shí)間的狀語(yǔ),這一句型相當(dāng)于中文里“某地有某人(某物)”的意思,句中的be用is還是are取決于后面的名詞是單數(shù)還是復(fù)數(shù),是可數(shù)還是不可數(shù)。名詞是單數(shù)或不可數(shù)用is,名詞是復(fù)數(shù)就用are。如:
There is an eraser on the floor.
地上有塊橡皮擦。
There is an old man under that tree.
那棵樹(shù)下有位老大爺。
There’s some rice in the bag.
口袋里有些大米。
There are four pictures on the wall.
墻上有四幅畫(huà)。
注:There is的縮寫(xiě)形式是There’s,There are的縮寫(xiě)形式是There’re。
△There be的疑問(wèn)形式是將be放在there之前,句尾加問(wèn)號(hào)。簡(jiǎn)略回答是Yes, there is / are. 或者No, there isn’t / aren’t。如:
“Are there any students on the playground?”
“Yes, there are. / No, there aren’t.”
“操場(chǎng)上有學(xué)生嗎?”
“是的,有。/不,沒(méi)有。”
△如果想知道有多少,可以用How many are there … 表示。
How many books are there on the desk? There’re thirty.
桌子上有多少本書(shū)?30本。

12. some,any的用法
I have some money in my pocket, but it is not enough. Do you have any?

△some,any可與單、復(fù)數(shù)可數(shù)名詞和不可數(shù)名詞連用。some一般用于肯定句中,any一般用于否定句、疑問(wèn)句和條件句中。
(1)I have some science books. 我有一些科技書(shū)。(some在肯定句中譯為一些)
(2)Is there any ink in the bottle? Yes, there is some ink. 瓶子里有一些墨水嗎?有。
在疑問(wèn)句中,雖然一般不用some,但是當(dāng)問(wèn)句表示一種邀請(qǐng)或請(qǐng)求,或期待一個(gè)肯定的回答時(shí)仍用some。
(3)Will you have some tea? 你喝茶嗎?(表邀請(qǐng))
