She heard them refer to him as “Big Brother”.她聽(tīng)見(jiàn)他們管他叫“大哥”。

generally speaking（adv. 總的來(lái)說(shuō),一般而言）該短語(yǔ)屬固定表達(dá)，不受人稱等其它條件地限制。
