        一,教學課型:閱讀課

        閱讀課是學生綜合運用所學語法、詞匯和功能等知識,認真閱讀文章,達到幫助其學習語言、文化等方面的知識,形成良好的閱讀策略,提高閱讀理解能力的課型。

        教學任務有以下:

        復習鞏固所學詞匯。

        逐步閱讀課文,達到深層次理解。

        滲透閱讀方法。

        教材處理

        《牛津高中英語。學生用書》所選的文章不僅題材廣泛、內(nèi)容豐富、文化意識強、內(nèi)涵豐富,而且體裁多樣,涵蓋了說明文、議論文、小說、戲劇、記敘文等,為學生學習語言提供了豐富多彩的素材。本課教材節(jié)選Ann一個加拿大女孩的五篇游記,把她在Pompeii和Loulan兩處的所見、所聞、所感、所思展示出來。教師可以呈現(xiàn)出與這兩處有關的簡單的對錯問題讓學生輕松答題,然后過渡到具體的問題,達到深一層次理解,再者對兩個古代城市進行比較歸納,對文章達到更深地理解,最后升華主題,喚起人們保護世界文化遺傳的意識。

        教學目標

        (1)通過閱讀短文,了解兩處失落的文明--Pompeii和Loulan.

        (2)提高學生閱讀能力。

        (3)提高學生語言運用能力。

        教材重點和難點

        (1)引導學生歸納短文、比較兩個古代城市的異同。

        (2)引導學生升華主題,增強人們保護世界文化遺產(chǎn)意識。

        三,教學設計

           (-)設計思想

           本節(jié)課是在多媒體教學環(huán)境下實施的大容量、快節(jié)奏的課堂教學。教師首先讓學生復習回顧與本篇文章相關聯(lián)的詞匯,接著運用略讀、尋讀、跳讀等閱讀方法,對所節(jié)選的五篇游記從不同層次,由淺入深、由表及里,逐層推進地進行閱讀,從而達到對文章深層次的理解。根據(jù)文章的描述,培養(yǎng)學生保護世界各國文化遺產(chǎn)、文明古跡的意識,同時讓學生思考如何去保護文化遺產(chǎn)和文明古跡:逐漸實現(xiàn)從語言的輸入和內(nèi)化到語言成果的輸出,提高學生應用語言的能力。

           通過問題討論鏈接中國古代文明,感性認識現(xiàn)存文明與失落文明的含義。通過逼真的圖片讓學生初步認識Pompeii和Loulan,增強學生對課文的閱讀興趣,并自然地引出本課的話題,與作者一起游歷兩古城遺跡。

           

           Step3 Reading

           1讀前(pre-reading)

           教師通過放錄音,讓學生跟著錄音浸入課文,初步了解大意,同時也注意了語音語調(diào)。

           2讀中(while-reading)

        T: Now read the passage quickly and answer the following “T” or “F” questions.

        Some of them have disappeared while others remain today .such as the Great wall, the Terracotta Warriors ,the Hanging Gardens ,Pyramids and so on (showing some pictures of them)

        Now let’s discuss in groups.

        (1)If you have a chance ,which place would you like to visit most? Why?

        T :From the passage we know Pompeii and Loulan were destroyed by nature.

        But I think human may also destroy our civilizations. If we want to make our civilizations exist for ever, I think we should make people have the sense of protecting our civilizations

        Now let’s discuss in groups.

        (2) What can we do to make people have the sense at protesting our civilizations?
