一. 教學(xué)材料分析
本模塊以家鄉(xiāng)為題材,要求學(xué)生理解、掌握本模塊中關(guān)于方位、位置等語言現(xiàn)象。本節(jié)課是一節(jié)閱讀課,本單元是整個(gè)模塊教學(xué)的第二單元。第一單元讓學(xué)生初步談?wù)摿擞嘘P(guān)城市的有關(guān)話題。第二單元承接了這一話題并在深度和廣度上做了進(jìn)一步的延伸和擴(kuò)充。本課進(jìn)一步談?wù)撚嘘P(guān)城市方位、人口、特色建筑等方面內(nèi)容,以及訓(xùn)練和運(yùn)用形容詞的比較級(jí)。為第三單元的綜合語言知識(shí)的復(fù)習(xí)和運(yùn)用以及綜合語言能力的培養(yǎng)作好鋪墊。通過閱讀本課使學(xué)生了解有關(guān)英、美國家主要城市及建筑物等相關(guān)知識(shí)。
二. 教學(xué)對(duì)象分析
本課授課對(duì)象是七年級(jí)學(xué)生,他們活潑好動(dòng),有著豐富的想象力和好奇心,對(duì)家鄉(xiāng)話題充滿興趣。我設(shè)計(jì)了復(fù)述課文、當(dāng)導(dǎo)游等活動(dòng),充分調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生參與活動(dòng)的積極性,使學(xué)生達(dá)到提高綜合運(yùn)用語言能力的目的。
三. 教學(xué)目標(biāo)
1、知識(shí)與技能
A.語言知識(shí)目標(biāo)
⑴詞匯掌握本單元單詞(east, south, north, west, university,
building, church, million, coast, region)基本含義并學(xué)會(huì)在特定的語境中運(yùn)用單詞來描述家鄉(xiāng);
⑵短語掌握 be famous for, in the south of, bigger and busier than, on the coast,a region of等等,并會(huì)用其描述家鄉(xiāng)。
⑶語法 能夠進(jìn)一步掌握形容詞比較級(jí),并運(yùn)用比較級(jí)對(duì)不同的城市、河流進(jìn)行描述。
B. 語言技能目標(biāo)
①聽:通過反復(fù)地聽該單元的短文訓(xùn)練,能聽懂課文中關(guān)于家鄉(xiāng)介紹的語言材料;
②說:通過小組合作、討論所學(xué)語言材料,能依照課文所學(xué)語言表達(dá)方式,口頭簡單介紹自己的家鄉(xiāng);
③讀:通過反復(fù)閱讀該短文后,能夠讀懂有關(guān)家鄉(xiāng)介紹的文章,并會(huì)獲取有用信息;
④寫:進(jìn)行復(fù)述文章、當(dāng)導(dǎo)游介紹家鄉(xiāng)活動(dòng)后,能夠模仿課文的結(jié)構(gòu)及句式,寫自己家鄉(xiāng)的短文。

(1) 培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的閱讀能力、邏輯思維能力、發(fā)現(xiàn)細(xì)節(jié)信息理解文章的能力。
(2) 學(xué)會(huì)合作、討論、交流, 掌握家鄉(xiāng)介紹的方法。
2.過程與方法
通過pair work、 group work 、making a reporter、 being a guide 等活動(dòng)來實(shí)現(xiàn)教學(xué)目標(biāo),提高學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣。
3.情感態(tài)度與價(jià)值觀
通過閱讀擴(kuò)充學(xué)生對(duì)英、美國家的了解,培養(yǎng)其對(duì)英語學(xué)習(xí)的文化底蘊(yùn)及學(xué)習(xí)興趣。同時(shí)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生對(duì)自己國家、家鄉(xiāng)了解及熱愛。

Step1:Lead-in
教師活動(dòng):In this procedure, let students listen to a song about loving motherland. Ask students to look at the map of China and say where Shanghai is and compare Shanghai to own hometown. Let Students enjoy some beautiful pictures and lead them in the new topic “Module5 Unit2”.
T: Hello, everyone! Nice to see you again.
Ss: Nice to see you , too.
T: The first step of this period, let’s enjoy Song Zuying’s song “Love my motherland.”
Ss: Wow, it’s fantastic.
Show some pictures about hometown.
T: Ok, Look at the pictures about hometown on the screen. Are they beautiful?
Ss: Yes, they are very beautiful.
Show the map of China.
T: Look at the map. Where’s Shanghai?
Ss: It’s in the south of China.
T: Yes.Where’s Shanghai?
Ss: It’s in the east of China.
T: Yes. Is your hometown bigger than Shanghai?
Ss: No, it’s smaller than Shanghai.
T: Which do you like better, Shanghai or your hometown?
S1: I like Shanghai better.
T: Why?
S1: Because Shanghai is a big city. It has many tall buildings. It’s very beautiful.
S2: I like my hometown better because I think my hometown is very beautiful and I love my hometown very much.
T: Well done. We should love our hometowns and country.Do you want to introduce your hometown to others?
Ss: Yes, but we can’t introduce more information.
T: This class we are going to learn more information about introducing hometown. Do you want to learn more carefully?
Ss: Yes, of course.
T: Ok, now we are going to learn Module5 Unit2. Let’s read the title together.

[設(shè)計(jì)意圖]:本活動(dòng)屬于熱身運(yùn)動(dòng),通過聽音樂吸引學(xué)生的注意力,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生熱愛自己的家鄉(xiāng)和祖國的思想感情。再利用家鄉(xiāng)美麗圖片和地圖回答問題,創(chuàng)設(shè)英語氛圍,活躍課堂氣氛,調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生積極性,自然地導(dǎo)入本課話題。
Step2:Vocabulary

[設(shè)計(jì)意圖] 通過看中國地圖和英格蘭地圖,使學(xué)生靈活掌握四個(gè)方位詞的表達(dá)方法,突破本課難點(diǎn)。同時(shí)通過創(chuàng)造的語境來呈現(xiàn)這單元里出現(xiàn)的新單詞和重要詞組。以情景來引導(dǎo)學(xué)生掌握好新單詞和詞組,使學(xué)生印象深刻,容易掌握,同時(shí)為學(xué)生聽課文并進(jìn)一步理解課文打下一定基礎(chǔ)。

2.Pair work
In this procedure, ask students to read the passage again and find more information in the passage.
T:Let’s read the passage again and answer the questions in Activity 3. Read slowly and carefully this time. After reading, work in pairs,ask and answer the questions.
After 5 minutes,ask several pairs to act in class.
3.Careful reading
In this procedure, ask students to read more carefully to find out some important and difficult sentences. Make sentences with the underlined words.

T: Ok. Work in groups of four. One is a duide and the others are tourists. After a while, each group chooses one student to act in class. Let’s begin.

T: We have learnt to introduce our hometowns and country by pair work, group work, making a report and being a guide. After class read the passage again and again until you can retell it. I want to know your beautiful hometown very much, but I’m very busy. I can’t go to visit your hometown. What should I do?
Ss: We will write a composition called my hometown and country.
T: Yes. You are too clever. I’m looking forward to seeing what your hometown is like. I think you can do it well. Good -bye.

教學(xué)反思
我以新課程理念為依據(jù)進(jìn)行教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)和課堂活動(dòng)。 本課我通過一首宋祖英《愛我中華》的歌曲和美麗的家鄉(xiāng)圖片,很自然的將學(xué)生引入本課“家鄉(xiāng)”話題的學(xué)習(xí)氛圍中,同時(shí)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生愛祖國愛家鄉(xiāng)的思想感情。由于本課是閱讀課,重在培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的閱讀能力、邏輯思維能力、發(fā)現(xiàn)細(xì)節(jié)信息理解文章的能力。因此,我在本課教學(xué)中以情景教學(xué)、活動(dòng)教學(xué)為主,充分利用現(xiàn)代化的電教手段創(chuàng)設(shè)情景,提高學(xué)生語言運(yùn)用能力。在單詞部分,主要通過圖片和地圖形象、直觀地向?qū)W生介紹,通過問答法,讓學(xué)生掌握新詞并反復(fù)運(yùn)用所學(xué)方位詞,為下一步課文理解及語言表達(dá)做好鋪墊。
對(duì)閱讀材料的處理上,我先讓學(xué)生聽再根據(jù)所獲得的信息判斷句子正誤,訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的聽力能力和思維能力。讓學(xué)生帶著問題閱讀,兩人一組進(jìn)行問和答活動(dòng),培養(yǎng)學(xué)生合作意識(shí),幫助學(xué)生形成良好的學(xué)習(xí)策略,要求學(xué)生根據(jù)所給信息復(fù)述課文,更是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生注重閱讀細(xì)節(jié)的能力,同時(shí)也為日后的寫作奠定一定基礎(chǔ)。讓學(xué)生當(dāng)導(dǎo)游介紹自己的家鄉(xiāng),激發(fā)學(xué)生表達(dá)的欲望,更是激發(fā)學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣。我的每一環(huán)節(jié)任務(wù)的設(shè)計(jì)都為學(xué)生提供了很好的學(xué)以致用的機(jī)會(huì),廣闊自由的發(fā)揮空間。教學(xué)中大量的語言實(shí)踐活動(dòng),使學(xué)生在教師的指導(dǎo)下,通過感知、體驗(yàn)、實(shí)踐、參與和合作等活動(dòng)方式,實(shí)現(xiàn)任務(wù)的目標(biāo),并感受成功,獲得自主的發(fā)展。
