二、教學步驟( Teaching steps)
Lesson 61
Step 1 復習
1、 檢查家庭作業(yè)。
2、 通過使用手勢或圖片復習不同運動項目的名稱( basketball, football, soccer, American football, volleyball, ping-pong等)。問學生一些問題:Which sports do you like? Which do you prefer, football or basketball? 等等。
Step 2 朗讀、表演
學生用書第76頁第1部分?谡Z錄音帶第61課。對學生說:Today there was a football match. Did Jim play in the football match? Listen and find out。把書合起來。放錄音給學生聽,讓他們找到答案。( No, he just watched the match.)把書打開。與學生一起讀一遍對話。接著再放一遍錄音讓學生聽并讓他們跟著重復。教學生詞beat 和goal。
看練習冊第61課練習6。全班學生一起口頭回答這些問題之后,讓學生以3人小組形式表演對話。讓幾組學生表演他們的對話。
Step 3 學習
學生用書第76頁第2部分。和學生一起讀一遍這些例句,然后解釋他們存在的難點。注意過去完成時態(tài)的用法。向學生解釋,過去完成時態(tài)表述了在過去發(fā)生或結尾的另儀活動之前發(fā)生的或結尾的事件或活動。換一句話說,兩個活動都發(fā)生在過去,一個活動發(fā)生在另一個活動之前。你可以畫一條如下的時間軸線來幫助你解釋:

Step 2 讀前提問
學生用書第77頁第1部分。讓學生兩人一組討論這兩個問題。讓他們與全班一起給出他們的答案。現在對學生說Today we are going to read about a football match. What do you know about football? How many players on a team? (11) How do you play football? 幫助學生回答,You try to kick the ball into the goal. Can you use your hands? No. Only one player can use his/ her hands. That’s the goalkeeper. 把goalkeeper一詞寫在黑板上。向學生說明goalkeeper= goal+ keep+ er。 你可以教學一些像gatekeep 和zookeeper 這樣的詞以便進行比較。學生用書第77頁。問What’s happening in the picture?讓學生看短文的標題,幫助他們回答(The girl is making a goal.)
Step 3 讀
學生用書第77頁第2部分,口語錄音帶第62課。讓學生仔細讀一遍課文。然后問What was the ending score of the game? Why do you think the girls won?讓學生說出他們的看法。教學生詞train, training, captain, deserve, confident, striker, midfield, player, excellent, shot 和nervous。你可以用如下一些簡單的英語解釋其中某些生詞:training在這篇課文里的意思是training for a competition。While in training, one exercises a lot and may eat certain foods to help them compete better。單詞captain 在這一課里是指the captain of the team= the leader of the team。A striker是一個足球運動員,他的主要職責是踢進球。Midfield是運動場的中間地區(qū)。
現在放錄音讓學生聽并讓他們跟著重復。如果時間不夠你可以只選一部分讓學生聽和重復。

做練習冊第62課練習2和3。練習2可以全班一起口頭完成。
練習3應兩人一起做,看看學生不做任何記錄能否相互采訪。

Step 1 復習
1 檢查家庭作業(yè)。
2 讓學生復述學生用書第77頁上的故事。
Step 2 讀
學生用書第78頁第1部分?谡Z錄音帶第63課。問Who scored the last two goals?讓學生盡快的讀故事的結尾部分找到答案( Li xiaolin)。然后讓學生再仔細讀一遍課文。就課文內容問一些問題。說Tell me about Lu Ming. What happened next? Who was winning at the end of the first half? What happened in the second half? What did Miss Wang say?讓學生猜測下列生詞的意思:lazy, carry on, final, amazing, performance和teamwork。然后向學生指出過去完成時態(tài)在這篇故事里的有用法。放錄音讓學生聽并讓他們跟著重復。
Step 3 介紹新語言項目
在黑板上畫一條像這樣的時間軸線:
time before last Saturday last Saturday now

問學生如下問題:
What are you doing now? ( having a lesson)
What did you do last Saturday? ( watched a match)
Was it a good match? ( Yes, a very good one.)

幫助學生回答最后一個問題:No, I had never seen such a good match before./ Yes, I had seen many like that one.
向學生解釋,過去完成時敘述的是一個動作發(fā)生在過去某一時間。它的構成形式是had+過去分詞。
Step 4 練習
學生用書第78頁第3部分。和學生一起讀一遍對話。教學生詞。通過出示一副圖片解釋生詞 baseball 的詞義。
Never mind= doesn’t matter,
boring= not interesting。
指出某些東西使人感到boring,可是,某人卻感到bored。你可以教給學生I’m bored!這個表達法,F在讓學生兩人一組活動,編他們自己的對話。讓幾組學生為全班說一說他們的對話。
Step 5 朗讀、表演
學生用書第78頁第3部分,口語錄音帶第63課。放錄音給學生聽,讓他們找出Why didn’t Li lan watch the match yesterday? 這一問題的答案。(Because she didn’t know it started at 2:00. She thought it started at 5:00.) 把書打開。讓學生聽錄音并讓他們重復。接著,與全班一起練習對話。當他們在練習對話時,提醒他們看看他們的伙伴,不要看書。看看是否有些組能表演對話。

做練習冊第63課練習1-3。讓學生兩人一組做練習1。
練習2和3可以在班上口頭做。

At first let’s just listen to the main idea。放錄音,學生聽錄音找到大意。問Where is this game played?核對答案(London)。把兩個隊的名字寫在黑板上,Liverpool 和Arsenal。讓學生看練習冊第64課練習1。放錄音讓學生聽并選擇正確的答案。然后與他們的同伴核對答案。最后與全班一起過一遍答案。放第3遍錄音給學生聽并讓他們對練習冊第64課練習2做填空練習。與全班一起核對答案。
聽力課文:
…This is Radio F. You’re listening to our report on today’s big match here in London. The teams are Liverpool and Arsenal. They have already played for 85 minutes, so there’s only five more minutes before the end of the match.
At the moment, Arsenal is winning 2-1. All the goals were scored in the second half of the match. There were no goals in the first half. Arsenal’s first goal come five minutes after half time. They scored their second goal ten minutes later. Everyone thought that Arsenal had beaten Liverpool . But five minutes later, The Liverpool Striker Michael Owen scored a great goal.
Now Owen has the ball again. He’s running fast towards the Arsenal goal. He’s looking around for other Liverpool players, but he can’t see any. It’s still Owen. He runs past one Arsenal defender, and another . He shoots- he scores!Great goal! A beautiful shot!
…Only one minute of this match left now. It’s Arsenal 2 and Liverpool 2. For most of the match, Arsenal looked like the better team. But Arsenal is not working well as a team. Their teamwork is very bad. Oh no! An Arsenal defender has made a mistake. Now Fowler has the ball for Liverpool. He shoots and scores! Fowler scores Liverpool’s third goal in the last minute of the match! Liverpool 3, Arsenal 2. A great end to this exciting game…

Step 3 讀、寫
學生用書第79頁第2部分。讓學生快速讀第一部分并找出大意。核對答案( Tracy Jones is writing in her diary about the football match.),F在讓學生讀一遍閱讀課文的第二部分,不做填空練習。讓學生猜一猜下列生詞和表達法的意思:spill, spill over和from now on.接著讓學生個別做填空練習。讓他們與他們的同伴一起核對他們的答案。然后與全班一起核對答案。答案是:can’t, beat, win, scored, beat-win, told, played, had, did/ had, had, scored, had won.
學生用書第80頁第3部分。與學生一起讀信的文字說明。然后找?guī)讉學生對全班朗讀這封信。鼓勵學生在讀這封信時要有激情。過一遍不熟悉的詞:Aussie, rule, against, expect 和rough。
看練習冊第64課練習3。讓學生在課堂上口頭回答這些問題。讓學生個別寫一封回信。然后讓他們朗讀給他們的同伴聽。再一次鼓勵學生在朗讀信時要充滿激情和活力。教師在教室里巡視并給予必要的指導。
Step 4 要點復習 16
過一遍復習要點16,如有必要給學生一個補充練習。學生需要理解過去完成時態(tài)的用法和意義。參見學生用書第228頁附錄部分的語法內容。學年結束就要來臨,你可以用一些時間復習一下學生感到比較弱的語言點。過一遍日常用語,務必使學生知道如何使用這些日常用語。
Step 5 測試
把下列材料作為一個聽寫。讓學生寫下他們聽到的內容。
School ended a little earlier. We all went to the football field, and soon the game started. We were playing against No. 64 Middle School. It was a draw when we played against them last time. They were all very big and strong, and we felt a little afraid of them. Although we were neither ver big nor very strong, we were a good team. We played together very well. But still we were not sure we could beat them.
Step 6 練習冊
做練習冊第64課練習4--7。在做練習4時,讓學生兩人一組練習對話。然后讓一組學生為全班表演對話。
練習5可以在班上口頭完成。
練習6是選做題。練習6讓學生對他們的同伴朗讀這個笑話。該系告訴學生這個笑話時間的選擇是非常重要的。讓學生自愿為全班朗讀這個對話。進行一次競賽,看誰把這個笑話講得最好。

把練習冊練習7里故事結尾部分的內容寫在練習本里。開始復習全書的內容。
