        Teaching Procedures:

        Step 1. Pre-Reading (導入)

        T: Do you like music?

        Ss: ……..

        T: Could you tell me some kinds of musical styles in the world?

        Ss: ……..

        T: OK, now we will listen to some kinds of music. Maybe you are familiar with them.

        Listen to some kinds of music through the multi-media courseware while ask following questions:

        Who is the singer/performer?

        What kinds of music are they?

        Do you know any characteristics of the music?

        It only contains the ryhthms, there are no words in it.

        It is very classical and traditional.

        (Introduce some new words to the Students while asking questions.)

        T: Just now, we have listened to some beautiful music. And what kinds of music do you like best?

        T: Everyone has your own choice and interest. And most of you like Pop music best. Beside these kinds of music, do you know any other kinds of music in the world?

        Step 2. Fast- Reading (泛讀)

        T: Today, I will lead you into the sounds of world. You will surprised by the beautiful music. Please turn to Page 73, read the passage quickly and find the answers to the following questions:

        T: Well-done. You have got the answers. Now let’s open our ears to the sounds of world.

        Step 3. Careful-Reading (精讀)

        T: Where can we often listen to the music?
