一、教材分析
整個(gè)單元以談?wù)摗吧铡睘橹骶,將12個(gè)月份的名稱、序數(shù)詞的學(xué)習(xí)融入到一系列的小任務(wù)中,學(xué)生通過(guò)詢問(wèn)對(duì)方的生日來(lái)完成一個(gè)最終的目標(biāo),即學(xué)會(huì)應(yīng)用日期的表達(dá)方法。其中Section A 主要以When is your birthday?為線索,重點(diǎn)呈現(xiàn)日期的表達(dá),包括12個(gè)月份的名稱及序數(shù)詞的學(xué)習(xí)。第二部分?jǐn)U展到When is Nick's birthday? 繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)與鞏固日期的表達(dá)法,最后以“The Birthday Game”結(jié)束。所以A部分的教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)以循序漸進(jìn)的教學(xué)方法,兼顧了聽、說(shuō)、讀、寫各種能力的培養(yǎng),但重點(diǎn)放在聽和說(shuō)上。Section B是在已有的基礎(chǔ)上拓展和延伸。如:When is the school trip? 同時(shí)從聽說(shuō)訓(xùn)練轉(zhuǎn)向讀寫能力的培養(yǎng)上。Self check是課后的自我檢測(cè),首先是對(duì)本單元所學(xué)字匯的檢測(cè),其次是文化知識(shí)的拓展,了解一些國(guó)內(nèi)外名人的生日等。

a、掌握十二個(gè)月份的名稱、序數(shù)詞1到31的表達(dá)法、單詞date, happy, age, old, birthday, party, trip, art, festival, Chinese, music, year,了解speech, contest, how, old, basketball, game, volleyball, game, school day, year old及八個(gè)人名。
b、熟練掌握并應(yīng)用下列句型:
When is your birthday? My birthday is … / It’s …
When is Vera’s birthday? Vera’s birthday is … / It’s …
及擴(kuò)展句型 How old are you? I am thirteen.
2、能力目標(biāo)
能用所學(xué)到的語(yǔ)言知識(shí)與實(shí)際生活結(jié)合起來(lái),使學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程生活化。
3、情感目標(biāo)
培養(yǎng)學(xué)生積極主動(dòng)的學(xué)習(xí)心理狀態(tài),調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)驅(qū)力,通過(guò)兩人對(duì)話、小組活動(dòng)、查詢一些名人的生日等一系列活動(dòng),培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的交際能力和學(xué)習(xí)主動(dòng)性。
三、教學(xué)思路
1. 以問(wèn)句When is your birthday?為線索引出單詞12個(gè)月份、序數(shù)詞(first ~thirty-first)的學(xué)習(xí)。
2. 通過(guò)pairwork、groupwork、writing等形式使學(xué)生熟練運(yùn)用關(guān)于“日期”的問(wèn)答。
3、時(shí)間安排:本單元分四課時(shí),具體如下:
Period 1:Section A: 1a, 2a, 1b, 1c
Period 2: Section A: 2b, 2c, 2d; Self Check 3
Period 3: Section A: 3a, 3b; Section B: 1, 2a, 2b

T: When is my birthday? My birthday is March 12th. And when is your birthday? You may answer it in Chinese.(引出12個(gè)月的單詞的教學(xué),可用12個(gè)月的圖片或幻燈片進(jìn)行教學(xué)。)
T: There are 12 months in a year. They are January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December.(逐個(gè)教學(xué)后,然后聽、跟讀 ,直到學(xué)生能流利地朗讀。)
生日除了講月外,還要有具體的幾號(hào),我們已經(jīng)學(xué)過(guò)基數(shù)詞one, two, three 到thirty-one。那么我們是否就用這些基數(shù)詞呢?No.我們還有把這些數(shù)詞稍微改變一下。然后引出序數(shù)詞的學(xué)習(xí),教學(xué)日期的表達(dá)法。

(課后反思:1、這節(jié)課的詞匯容量比較大,12個(gè)月份的單詞也比較難記,對(duì)于基礎(chǔ)較薄弱的學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō)全部掌握有一定困難,但是假如他們記住了自己出身的月份,家人出身的月份及好朋友出身的月份,那么對(duì)于他們來(lái)說(shuō)目的也就達(dá)到了。2、我把1-31序數(shù)詞的學(xué)習(xí)也放在這節(jié)課里,因?yàn)榛鶖?shù)詞1-31剛在前一個(gè)單元學(xué)過(guò),所以對(duì)學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō)困難不會(huì)很大。3、對(duì)學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō)在一節(jié)課內(nèi)要把月、日流利的說(shuō)正確可能回有一定的困難,主要是學(xué)生會(huì)經(jīng)常把“日”的表達(dá)用基數(shù)詞。)

(課后反思:這節(jié)課仍舊繼續(xù)前兩節(jié)課的主題,但擴(kuò)充了句型:How old are you? I am fifteen. 這個(gè)句型對(duì)學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō)很容易,因?yàn)樗麄冊(cè)谛W(xué)時(shí)就很熟練。2、Section B的2b,填寫喬的日歷,因?yàn)橛行┰~匯是新的,一下子從學(xué)、聽到寫,對(duì)一些接受能力慢的學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō)可能有一定困難,可以讓學(xué)生用標(biāo)號(hào)的辦法來(lái)做,以降低難度。)
